Working on my fitness

One of the main things that I truly want to work on is being truly happy with my body. I think a lot of women feel the same way. But I want to wake up in the morning and be happy with the way I look. I don't want to be that person who compares themselves to everyone else. With that being said, I am telling the world this so I can motivate myself.

I've been walking around the neighborhood and running every few minutes. I am definitely not a runner.  But it all takes time. I've also stopped skipping meals and eating a bit healthier.

****Do you have any tips? I am excited to begin my own fitness journey. Any tips and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. With that being said I am forever grateful to have Scott. He supports me with my goals and is very encouraging. I am so blessed to have him in my life.

I am a mommy

Time for a mommy moment
(4 Legged, Fur Baby Version)

Happy 6th Birthday to my baby bear, Onyx!

I am not ready by any means to bring a child into this world and experience the world of pregnancy.
However, six years ago today, my sweet baby was brought into this beautiful thing we call life. That's when I became a mommy to my four-legged, fur baby. While I am not a mommy to a human, I sure am a proud mommy to my fur baby. I never knew that I could love him as much as I do. He makes my day brighter and happier. He is so sweet and loves to snuggle. His kisses are the best. I love the way he cheers me up when I am down, just by simply cuddling with me. Some of you reading are thinking, "a post about your dog, really?" but to me he is more than a dog, he's my family and my baby! I wouldn't have it any other way. Happy Birthday love bug! I love you more than you know <3

Dream BIG!

What are your dreams?

We all have dreams and goals we hope to accomplish sometime in our life. So, DREAM BIG!  If you want something in life chase it until you achieve it. I hate seeing people putting others down with negativity and telling someone they "can't do this or they can't do that". In reality you can do as you please and accomplish any dream or goal, sure sometimes it takes a while and you have to work hard, but if it's something you truly want I say go for it. You only live once and not for anyone else but yourself. Those who tell you, you can't do something are not the people you want in your life anyway. My advice is to get rid of those negative people in your life, they don't need to be there.  I am here to tell you -  you can do it, you really can. Work hard, there will be tough days and you will get through it. Stay positive!

With that being said, I'd like to share some of my dreams and things I hope to accomplish in my life sometime. So I am going to categorize it as something you hear often which is, my very own bucket list. I think it helps writing out your goals and being able to see them everyday as they are a reminder of what you are working towards. *What are some the things you hope to accomplish in life? I would love to hear from you.

March Favorites

Happy Sunday and Easter!
I hope you all enjoyed the day with your family and friends. Today I bring to you my favorite products that I used this past month, March. I've always loved reading and watching vlogs of monthly favorites.  I thought I'd share my favorites, too! So, lets begin . . (I will be sure to list where I got each product). (Please note that these are just my opinions and nothing is sponsored.

Candle - Cherry Blossom Sangria
My first favorite this past month was the Cherry Blossom Sangria candle from Bath and Body Works. It's the perfect floral and fruity scent. I'm normally not a big fan of floral scents but this is a great combination of sweet and fruity. I believe it's on sale for $12.00 today, when it's normally $22.50. Be sure to check out their site at: Bath and Body Works.

Hair - Batiste Dry Shampoo
I found this awesome dry shampoo at TJ Maxx. I was always skeptical as to whether these things worked as I've tried many before and it did nothing for my hair. But this is the best dry shampoo I've ever tried. It works and smells amazing. Not too much of a strong floral scent so it is perfect for me. I found it at TJ Maxx for $5.99. They have various scents so definitely go check it out. If you have any dry shampoos that works great for you, let me know.

Lip Products - Lush, Balm, and NYX
I am a Lushy! I love all their products. If you wear lipstick often or have dry lips this lip scrub works VERY well. It even tastes good! That's right! This lip scrub tastes just like bubblegum. I got it from Lush in the flavor Bubble Gum for $9.95. It may seem a bit pricey but it lasts a very LONG time. They have other flavors/scents so definitely check out the store: Lush
It's true I have an addiction to lip products! It's my favorite. This is the first time I purchased this lip balm and it is so moisturizing. I normally purchase all and every new type of lip balm and this by far has to be the cutest packaging and works so well. I wish it was in a tube but this works just fine. I purchased it from TJ Maxx for $3.99!

The next product is my favorite Matte Lipstick ever! Check out the swatch below. It's a beautiful pink color and stays on your lips most of the day. I have various shades but I will have to double check this color. I will post it when I figure out which lip product I used for this swatch.

Eye Products - Mally & Its Judy Time
I know for every product I've posted so far I've said, "they are the best and they are my favorite" but they truly are that's why I am sharing. My two favorite eye products are the Mally Volumizing Mascara I received a from a friend. It's the best. It really helps my eyelashes seem longer. I for one am not lucky to have beautiful lashes like some of you may have but this mascara definitely does the trick.

The last product I wanted to share that I gravitated to more last month was the It's Judy Life Palette. I just love the colors on the palette a LOT! I bought 4 of her palettes during the holiday season as it was on sale and I even got some for Christmas because it's my favorite. Are you interested in seeing the swatches of the palette? Let me know and I can definitely post it. Maybe a free give away of one of the palettes too? Let me know if you would be interested in one and I will possibly do a give-away.

****Anyways, that concludes my favorites for last month. If you like these posts please let me know. And… what are some of your favorite go to products? I love trying new things and hearing from you. If you want to enter my giveaway make sure to like my Facebook page and comment here or on my Facebook letting me know some of your favorite every day products.  Xoxo

Are you always overthinking things?

Greetings,

Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week.

Are you always overthinking everything?

*Raises Hand* Not even going to lie -  More often than not I am always overthinking and analyzing every little thing that happens in my life. I can't even express myself without having to think about it over, and over again (and then think about it again even after it happens). This is definitely one of the things I struggle with and am trying to work on a daily basis. I guess we all have things we need to work on a daily basis and this is one the things I have to work on. I have gotten a lot better though. Here are a few tips I have for you if you are having the same issues (Please note that these are just my opinions and things that have helped me):

(1) Letting things go and let it be

I cannot emphasize this enough. As cliche as it may sound, everything truly does happen for a reason. There's no point in dwelling on what has already happened. I know, I know it's easier said than done. Trust me the sooner you are able to let things go and let everything play out as it should, your life will be much better and you are going to be happier. Sometimes I still struggle with this but I always remind myself that everything will fall into place as it should be. If this is tough for you, my advice would be to think of something that bothers you the least and simply start there and slowly work your way up to letting the bigger things go.
Images are found on Google
( 2 ) Finding something that will occupy your time

This is the best tip I can give everyone. When I spend time doing something that I love and enjoy, whether it be shopping, baking, cooking, spending time with family and or friends blogging, etc. it helps ease my mind. I normally don't worry about anything and am focusing on what I love to do. So if there is something you are truly passionate about go for it and do what you love. If you are having troubles finding a hobby, I would recommend exploring new things you've never done before. *Maybe join a cooking class, fitness group, scrapbooking*

**These are the two best tips I can give. If you are a person that overthinks and overanalyzes let me know what you do to ease your mind?!
