March Favorites

Happy Sunday and Easter!
I hope you all enjoyed the day with your family and friends. Today I bring to you my favorite products that I used this past month, March. I've always loved reading and watching vlogs of monthly favorites.  I thought I'd share my favorites, too! So, lets begin . . (I will be sure to list where I got each product). (Please note that these are just my opinions and nothing is sponsored.

Candle - Cherry Blossom Sangria
My first favorite this past month was the Cherry Blossom Sangria candle from Bath and Body Works. It's the perfect floral and fruity scent. I'm normally not a big fan of floral scents but this is a great combination of sweet and fruity. I believe it's on sale for $12.00 today, when it's normally $22.50. Be sure to check out their site at: Bath and Body Works.

Hair - Batiste Dry Shampoo
I found this awesome dry shampoo at TJ Maxx. I was always skeptical as to whether these things worked as I've tried many before and it did nothing for my hair. But this is the best dry shampoo I've ever tried. It works and smells amazing. Not too much of a strong floral scent so it is perfect for me. I found it at TJ Maxx for $5.99. They have various scents so definitely go check it out. If you have any dry shampoos that works great for you, let me know.

Lip Products - Lush, Balm, and NYX
I am a Lushy! I love all their products. If you wear lipstick often or have dry lips this lip scrub works VERY well. It even tastes good! That's right! This lip scrub tastes just like bubblegum. I got it from Lush in the flavor Bubble Gum for $9.95. It may seem a bit pricey but it lasts a very LONG time. They have other flavors/scents so definitely check out the store: Lush
It's true I have an addiction to lip products! It's my favorite. This is the first time I purchased this lip balm and it is so moisturizing. I normally purchase all and every new type of lip balm and this by far has to be the cutest packaging and works so well. I wish it was in a tube but this works just fine. I purchased it from TJ Maxx for $3.99!

The next product is my favorite Matte Lipstick ever! Check out the swatch below. It's a beautiful pink color and stays on your lips most of the day. I have various shades but I will have to double check this color. I will post it when I figure out which lip product I used for this swatch.

Eye Products - Mally & Its Judy Time
I know for every product I've posted so far I've said, "they are the best and they are my favorite" but they truly are that's why I am sharing. My two favorite eye products are the Mally Volumizing Mascara I received a from a friend. It's the best. It really helps my eyelashes seem longer. I for one am not lucky to have beautiful lashes like some of you may have but this mascara definitely does the trick.

The last product I wanted to share that I gravitated to more last month was the It's Judy Life Palette. I just love the colors on the palette a LOT! I bought 4 of her palettes during the holiday season as it was on sale and I even got some for Christmas because it's my favorite. Are you interested in seeing the swatches of the palette? Let me know and I can definitely post it. Maybe a free give away of one of the palettes too? Let me know if you would be interested in one and I will possibly do a give-away.

****Anyways, that concludes my favorites for last month. If you like these posts please let me know. And… what are some of your favorite go to products? I love trying new things and hearing from you. If you want to enter my giveaway make sure to like my Facebook page and comment here or on my Facebook letting me know some of your favorite every day products.  Xoxo

Are you always overthinking things?

Greetings,

Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week.

Are you always overthinking everything?

*Raises Hand* Not even going to lie -  More often than not I am always overthinking and analyzing every little thing that happens in my life. I can't even express myself without having to think about it over, and over again (and then think about it again even after it happens). This is definitely one of the things I struggle with and am trying to work on a daily basis. I guess we all have things we need to work on a daily basis and this is one the things I have to work on. I have gotten a lot better though. Here are a few tips I have for you if you are having the same issues (Please note that these are just my opinions and things that have helped me):

(1) Letting things go and let it be

I cannot emphasize this enough. As cliche as it may sound, everything truly does happen for a reason. There's no point in dwelling on what has already happened. I know, I know it's easier said than done. Trust me the sooner you are able to let things go and let everything play out as it should, your life will be much better and you are going to be happier. Sometimes I still struggle with this but I always remind myself that everything will fall into place as it should be. If this is tough for you, my advice would be to think of something that bothers you the least and simply start there and slowly work your way up to letting the bigger things go.

( 2 ) Finding something that will occupy your time

This is the best tip I can give everyone. When I spend time doing something that I love and enjoy, whether it be shopping, baking, cooking, spending time with family and or friends blogging, etc. it helps ease my mind. I normally don't worry about anything and am focusing on what I love to do. So if there is something you are truly passionate about go for it and do what you love. If you are having troubles finding a hobby, I would recommend exploring new things you've never done before. *Maybe join a cooking class, fitness group, scrapbooking*

**These are the two best tips I can give. If you are a person that overthinks and overanalyzes let me know what you do to ease your mind?!

Here we go . .

Uh-oh, what topic?

D R U M R O L  L     P L E A S E  . .

are you ready for it?

Greetings reader,

Sooo.... I literally sat here multiple days and multiple times typing up posts and then deleting. At some point I even had a whole blog ready to publish but ended up deleting it. Has anyone everyone ever experienced that? Obviously I had a very hard time deciding what topic I wanted to explore and talk about.. There were so many ideas and thoughts I had. But none of the thousands of ideas I had was something I felt compelled to write about. I stayed up at the butt crack of dawn last night and finally chose something. Something so, so simple, something we all desire and have at some point in our lives, something so simple yet it can be some what difficult . . . and that topic is . . it is . . . l - o - v - e.  That's right my topic of choice is love.

** First and foremost I would just like to mention that everything I'm saying/writing is just my opinion. I'm sure some of you reading may not agree and that's perfectly fine as I don't expect us to all feel the same way. Our lives are all steered differently and no one should expect people to agree with them all the time. Anyways, whether or not you agree with me I would like to hear what your thoughts are. I would love to hear your voice. So please feel free to comment below, or comment via my Facebook page. I love hearing back from you all.

Without further ado here we go..

I think it's safe to say that we all love differently. We love certain people in our lives differently too. For instance the love you feel for your sibling(s) is most likely different than the love you have for your significant other. Wouldn't you agree?  I can sit here and go on about the topic of love for days if I didn't narrow it down. So what I am primarily focusing on is the love in a relationship with your significant other (boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, etc.). We all have different expectations when it comes to love. Sure, we can blame it on entertainment and media because truly it causes people to expect certain things in a relationship, right? As a woman I can say that yes, I love romantic movies and more often than not I wish and wanted some of the things in the movie to happen to myself. But I do know and understand that what I see in the movies are sometimes unrealistic. I think that's what some of us need to remember sometimes. *Excuse me while I jump to a different aspect of love. When someone gets hurt in a relationship, lets say maybe someone cheated. It bothers me that they blame love. Love didn't do anything, it's the person. Sometimes I think people get that confused with love. Love in my opinion is what makes everything worth it, it makes you feel whole (Please keep in mind - this is my opinion). Love is what everyone seems to yearn for sometime in their life. It's the only thing that doesn't hurt. We want someone to love us for the good and bad. I met my fiancé - woah six years ago (it still feels like yesterday). Sure, we fight every now and then, we've seen the good, the bad, the pretty, and the ugly within each other. But at the end of the day we still love each other. We work on our relationship continually. I feel that people think they when they find their love they should stop loving or working on their relationship but that's not true. I think it's safe to say that love takes a lot of time and work. Nothing is ever perfect. You should never take love for granted. If you are lucky and have found your love significant other, whether you are a man or woman please be sure not to take that person for granted. I think sometimes it's easy to do that because it's life it happens but take some time with each other and make sure you let your significant other know that you love them. I apologize if I jumped all over the place but I had a lot to say and didn't want to keep the post too long, hence the reason i jumped around.

Okay, enough of the serious stuff. I want to hear about your love story.. Where did you meet your significant other? How did you know he/she was the one, how did you propose, or how did you significant other propose? That's right I am truly a romantic at heart and love hearing those stories. So  please share here or on my Facebook page. If you want to hear the story of our proposal please be sure to keep reading!

The Proposal
Date: Thursday,  December 18th, 2014
Time: Around 12:22 PM EST
Where: The Caladesi Island State Park

We were on vacation in Florida for a week. Scott (my fiancé) and I went to The Caladesi Island beach with his sister, Kristen. Kristen was walking ahead of us because she wanted to find sand dollars for the kids. I thought nothing of it. We finally got to where she was, but Scott wanted us to keep walking. As we walked ahead a little I suddenly saw flowers shaped in a big heart with a bouquet of flowers. That's when I knew it was going to happen. Lol funny story I get embarrassed easily so I made him wait till the people around us passed by. Anyways as they finally passed us, he got on one knee and I said yes!  I was happy so happy and cannot say thanks enough to my future sister in law, Kristen for all the help and making it a special moment.

Introduction

Greetings World,

My name is Tammy. I currently reside in the Midwest, in the ole state of Wisconsin. I am new to this whole blogging thing, but have wanted to do it for a long time now. I am 23 years old and am learning new things about myself everyday. I guess you can say I am still trying to find my place in this world. This blog will be used for life style, tips and thoughts. I know that's pretty vague and everyone seems to  blog about that these days. But I like variety so most likely I will include topics like: fitness, weight loss, some fashion/beauty tips, recipes, saving money, DIY, wedding ideas, personal thoughts/ideas, and overall me making an effort to leave sparkle in the lives of those who I connect with. I want to leave some positivity in the world as there is so much negativity we see in life. I get it life can be hectic and sometimes you just need someone to relate to or talk to and I admit I even need that in my life. Hopefully I can be that person for you. Tell me what you want to see. I am always open for suggestions and tips too!

This is a photo of my fiancé and I, when we got engaged in Florida! It was a vacation full of fun and love. ***Leave a comment below and tell me what is your favorite memory while on vacation or favorite vacation spot. I would love to hear about it!

Have a great day loves! xOxO
