Uh-oh, what topic?
D R U M R O L L P L E A S E . .
are you ready for it?
Greetings reader,
Sooo.... I literally sat here multiple days and multiple times typing up posts and then deleting. At some point I even had a whole blog ready to publish but ended up deleting it. Has anyone everyone ever experienced that? Obviously I had a very hard time deciding what topic I wanted to explore and talk about.. There were so many ideas and thoughts I had. But none of the thousands of ideas I had was something I felt compelled to write about. I stayed up at the butt crack of dawn last night and finally chose something. Something so, so simple, something we all desire and have at some point in our lives, something so simple yet it can be some what difficult . . . and that topic is . . it is . . . l - o - v - e. That's right my topic of choice is love.

** First and foremost I would just like to mention that everything I'm saying/writing is just my opinion. I'm sure some of you reading may not agree and that's perfectly fine as I don't expect us to all feel the same way. Our lives are all steered differently and no one should expect people to agree with them all the time. Anyways, whether or not you agree with me I would like to hear what your thoughts are. I would love to hear your voice. So please feel free to comment below, or comment via my Facebook page. I love hearing back from you all.
Without further ado here we go..
I think it's safe to say that we all love differently. We love certain people in our lives differently too. For instance the love you feel for your sibling(s) is most likely different than the love you have for your significant other. Wouldn't you agree? I can sit here and go on about the topic of love for days if I didn't narrow it down. So what I am primarily focusing on is the love in a relationship with your significant other (boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, etc.). We all have different expectations when it comes to love. Sure, we can blame it on entertainment and media because truly it causes people to expect certain things in a relationship, right? As a woman I can say that yes, I love romantic movies and more often than not I wish and wanted some of the things in the movie to happen to myself. But I do know and understand that what I see in the movies are sometimes unrealistic. I think that's what some of us need to remember sometimes. *Excuse me while I jump to a different aspect of love. When someone gets hurt in a relationship, lets say maybe someone cheated. It bothers me that they blame love. Love didn't do anything, it's the person. Sometimes I think people get that confused with love. Love in my opinion is what makes everything worth it, it makes you feel whole (Please keep in mind - this is my opinion). Love is what everyone seems to yearn for sometime in their life. It's the only thing that doesn't hurt. We want someone to love us for the good and bad. I met my fiancé - woah six years ago (it still feels like yesterday). Sure, we fight every now and then, we've seen the good, the bad, the pretty, and the ugly within each other. But at the end of the day we still love each other. We work on our relationship continually. I feel that people think they when they find their love they should stop loving or working on their relationship but that's not true. I think it's safe to say that love takes a lot of time and work. Nothing is ever perfect. You should never take love for granted. If you are lucky and have found your love significant other, whether you are a man or woman please be sure not to take that person for granted. I think sometimes it's easy to do that because it's life it happens but take some time with each other and make sure you let your significant other know that you love them. I apologize if I jumped all over the place but I had a lot to say and didn't want to keep the post too long, hence the reason i jumped around.
Okay, enough of the serious stuff. I want to hear about your love story.. Where did you meet your significant other? How did you know he/she was the one, how did you propose, or how did you significant other propose? That's right I am truly a romantic at heart and love hearing those stories. So please share here or on my Facebook page. If you want to hear the story of our proposal please be sure to keep reading!

We were on vacation in Florida for a week. Scott (my fiancé) and I went to The Caladesi Island beach with his sister, Kristen. Kristen was walking ahead of us because she wanted to find sand dollars for the kids. I thought nothing of it. We finally got to where she was, but Scott wanted us to keep walking. As we walked ahead a little I suddenly saw flowers shaped in a big heart with a bouquet of flowers. That's when I knew it was going to happen. Lol funny story I get embarrassed easily so I made him wait till the people around us passed by. Anyways as they finally passed us, he got on one knee and I said yes! I was happy so happy and cannot say thanks enough to my future sister in law, Kristen for all the help and making it a special moment.
